CSG Appoints New Commercial Director in the United Kingdom & Ireland

Ferhat Ocsel joins Customs Support Group (CSG) after a varied career to date, with more than 20 years of international experience in sales leadership and commercial strategy.

He has previously held senior roles at DHL across the UK, Germany and Turkey and his experience includes board-level leadership and regional oversight across 28 European countries.

Ferhat, who has lived and worked in the United Kingdom, Germany and Turkey, is passionate about developing and mentoring sales professionals to achieve their full potential.

He said: “My core strengths lie in sales performance management, strategic account development and team coaching, management and mentoring.

“Clients and partners value my ability to align commercial goals with operational execution, foster long-term relationships and navigate complex international environments. I bring a strategic mindset, cultural adaptability and a strong track record of delivering measurable business growth, making me a trusted partner in driving success.

“I’m especially passionate about leadership development, sales transformation and creating scalable growth strategies. I enjoy helping individuals and teams unlock their potential and thrive in fast-paced, results-driven environments without compromising on respect.”

Keiron Myall, managing director for CSG UK&IE, said: “Ferhat brings a wealth of experience to our business at a time of significant growth and we are delighted to have him on board.

“He will play a key role in our ongoing plans to expand our footprint across the UK and Ireland and further support our clients in digitising their supply chains.

“His strengths in mentoring and people development will also be valuable assets to our business as we continue to upskill our teams for long-term growth.”

Ferhat is already hitting the road for CSG, attending Smart Manufacturing Week at the Birmingham NEC last week and attending Multimodal at the same venue next week (June 17-19).

He will be joined at Multimodal by colleagues Emmett Young and Nicolas Collart, who will be taking part in two of the many talks on stage.
