Dutch Customs: Exporter must be an EU company procedure delayed

In August we updated you on the decision of the Dutch Customs Authority that from October 1st it is no longer allowed for companies that are not registered in the EU to be the exporter.

Dutch Customs announced earlier this week that this decision will be postponed until January 1st 2021. They are using the extensions to further research the implications of the new procedure on the non-fiscal legislature and to compare how other EU member states handle non-EU exporters.
